Cocktail Week GR: an entire week of cocktail specials around Grand Rapids, Michigan. This project was made for Experience Grand Rapids to promote and build hype for their week of cocktail specials
The first part of the was to create a set of 4 Cinemagraphs for social media. Cinemagraphs make for great social posts because they have eyecatching movement, but are subtle and short enough that they draw your eye without taking any of your time.
Its worth noting that one of these (the first one below) ended up having the ‘boomerang’ effect and was not technically a cinemagraph. It still worked great on social and fit right into the promotion.
Using the same footage I edited together a 20 second hype video to share across social and on the local television stations.
